International Veteran Football competition will be held in Jeetpursimara

September 9th 2023 – International Veteran Football competition will be held in Jeetpursimara.

International Veteran Football Tournament 2080 is going to be held in Simara, Bara. The 3rd International Veteran Football Tournament is going to be organized in memory of Manju Devi Gupta.

The competition, featuring 12 teams, including three foreign football clubs, will take place from September 24 to 30 at the Simara Stadium, as announced by the Simara Veteran Club, the organizers of the event. The estimated cost of the competition is 24 lakhs 39 thousand rupees, and it will kick off at 4 PM, as informed by the organizers.

In the competition, teams from Bangladesh, Bangladesh Veteran Football Club, India’s Clubhouse Veteran Football club, Darjeeling Town Veteran Football Club from India, Indreni United Development Center Pokhara, Chabel Veteran Club, Nawa Janajagriti Youth Club Simara, Freedom Fighter Veteran Club Kathmandu, Birganj Youth Academy Veteran, Abhishek Church Veteran Club Nawalparasi, Chitwan Veteran Club, Jahada Veteran Club Morang, and the organizer Simara Veteran Club will participate.

The main sponsor of the game is Jagdamba Steel and the main support is Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan city. The winning team of the competition will get 200,000 cash and the runner-up will get 100,000 cash prize, while the best player of the Tournament will get 55,000 cash prize along with a shield, medal and certificate.
