Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani are Nepali lands: Prime Minister Prachanda

23 May 2023 – Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani are Nepali lands: Prime Minister Prachanda.

Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that the government is clear that Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani in Darchula are Nepali lands.

Answering a question raised on policy and program in the National Assembly meeting on Tuesday, he said that the government is clear that Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani are Nepali lands. He said that the existing border problem will be resolved through diplomatic means on the basis of historical treaties, maps and factual evidence.

The government of Nepal is very clear that Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani are Nepali lands. I would also like to inform the honorable members that we are determined and committed to resolve the existing border issues through diplomatic initiatives on the basis of historical treaties, maps, facts and evidence,’ he said.

Prime Minister Prachanda has also said that the relations with neighbors and friendly countries will be further strengthened on the basis of universal equality, mutual benefit and respect, keeping the national interest as the highest priority.
