Career:
Saugat started acting at Acting School “Aarohan Gurukul”, appearing in several critically acclaimed productions including Oedipus Rex and Agni Ko Katha at Gurukul Theater. Malla made his film debut in Kagbeni (2008). Then came Maya Ko Bari Ma (2011). He left his mark with his signature role in Loot (2012) after four years. This film became one of Nepal’s most successful movies, and he was recognized for his portrayal of Haku Kale. He appeared in numerous other Nepali films including Soongava: Dance of the Orchids (2012), Kathaa (2013), Sourya (2013), Badhshala (2013), Shree 5 Ambare (2014), Utsav (2014), Mukhauta (2014) and Sadanga (2015), among others.
Education:
Saugat Malla has studied up to Secondary Level. After that, he began his journey in the film career and entered the Kathmandu Arohan Gurukul Drama School, an acting school. He did not enroll in any higher education college to continue his studies because he didn’t want to pursue further education.
