Shrinkhala Khatiwada completed her SLC from Hetauda Academy in her hometown Momtaun. She pursued her high school education from Golden Gate International College in Kathmandu. She studied architecture at the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, and graduated at the top of her class. She pursue a Master’s in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Shrinkhala Khatiwada was born on 3 November 1995 in Hetauda, Makwanpur District of Nepal. Her father’s name is Birodh Khatiwada, he were the leader of the Nepal Communist Party (ULM) who had been elected as a Member of Parliament from the Makwanpur Constituency No. 2 for the fourth time.
Her mother’s name is Munu Sigdel Khatiwada. she is the president of the Nepal Communist Party (UML) for Makwanpur District and also a member of the Provincial Assembly of Bagmati Province. Her elder brother’s name is Bimba, who is currently residing in Australia.
