Kamal Khatri, a well-known personality of Nepal today, found it very difficult to fulfill his dream in the early days of his career. From a young age, he wanted to make his career in the music industry. He came to Kathmandu from Sarlahi with the dream of becoming a singer. Many people assured that they will record his song but they did not give him a chance to record the song. At that time, he used to fix mic in studio for other singers. After that, he was disappointed with life and was preparing to return to the village Sarlahi, but some people heard his voice. Because of this, he got a chance to record the song.
He recorded the album “pida” for the first time. He became very popular with that album. After that, his life took a turn towards success. After that time till now Kamal has no shortage of work. His career began upon participating in the Radio show called Adhunik song competition of Radio Nepal in 2005. He is known as one of the best adhunik (modern) pop singers of Nepal. He became popular in the singing field after his song “Aatama Ma” became very popular.
