Manung kot (Manung Danda) is one of the popular hills of Nepal. It is located at an elevation of 1000 meters above sea level. This hill is also known as Badalpari hill. Manungkot hill is near Damauli market in Tanahun district. A panoramic view of Damauli market, Mountains, Gunadi village, Madi, Seti, Saghe and Buldi rivers can be seen from the hill. Manungkot has become a popular scenic tourist destination from where one can witness breathtaking Himalayan views from above the clouds and beautiful mountains with sunrises and sunsets.

How to get to Manungkot hill station?

From Kathmandu, Pokhara, or Chitwan, you can take a private or public bus to reach Damauli. Damauli is located between Mugling and Pokhara. From Damauli, you can also reach the hill station by using your private vehicle, local public vehicle, taxis, or by walking. It takes around 15 to 20 minutes by vehicle and approximately 2 hours on foot to reach Manungkot from Damauli.
