Career
Pashupati Sharma came to Kathmandu for further studies after graduating from his native Syaganja up to the secondary level (S.L.C). He was interested in singing from the very beginning. He learned vocals for a few months in an institution in Kathmandu and from there he was suggested to become a folk singer as he had a voice of folk texture.
He then started singing at Sapt Koshi Dohori Sanjh (Folk Singing Club) in Kathmandu and released his first official song in 2003. Sharma has sung more than 1000 songs in his career. His songs revolve around patriotism, love and satire.
