Arzu Rana Deuba graduated from St. Padmakanya College, Bagmati Pradesh University and completed her Masters from Punjab University. She completed her Masters in Organizational Psychology from Punjab University in 1990.

Career

Born on 26 January 1961, Arju Rana was very good at studies since childhood, she passed her school level and graduation from Nepal and went to India for further studies. She used to study and serve the country and work for the respect and equality of women in the country. At the initial stage, she used to do a lot of support at the social level by running NGOs.

Having studied in the field of medical, she worked in the medical field at the social level in Nepal and organized free camps in many remote areas and also planned many programs to make women independent. After marrying Nepal’s senior politifcal leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, she moved forward with enthusiasm in social service. She founded a non-governmental organization called “Dhaago” to raise voice for children and women across the country. She provided various training programs for women empowerment and provided loans through the organization to help them start businesses. Along with her social work, she supported her husband in his political endeavors and gradually stepped into the political arena.
